Don Wharton

You all are crazy. I went in the water just off the coast of Alaska in 1993, but not of my own free will. We spent about an hour in 36-degree water after surviving a plane crash into the Bering Sea.(www.therescuestory.com) If you need a master of ceremonies for the Ft. Wayne event, I'll help out, but I'm not going in the water again. Hope you all have a great time.

I'm in. Sounds like a good time.

Do you HAVE to get your hair wet and completely submerge your body when doing this? never have done it, but hope to sometime in my life!

Ed. note: No, you don't have to get your hair wet. Indeed, I think most would advise against putting your face in the water.
