The News-Sentinel and NewsChannel 15 poll is out in the Sheriff' race.
It shows Republican Ken Fries with 57% of the vote, Democrat Tina Taviano at 16% and P.J. Smith at 15%. 12% are undecided.
The News-Sentinel has published the full chart of the poll results here.
The chart also contains the results for the questions they asked about government consolidation, smoking, and the baseball stadium.
The poll was conducted by Research 2000, an experienced Maryland polling firm which conducts numerous political polls for media organization around the nation.
The numbers are historically unprecedented. The results would mean that Ms. Taviano has lost a huge amount of the base Democratic vote. Mr. Smith probably benefits from Ms. Taviano lack of support within what should be the Democratic base.
Ken Fries is the real deal. He will be good for the county and for the rank and file officers. He didnt go negative because he doesn't believe in it.
