Marni Hughes has been named a co-anchor of the 10 PM news on Minneapolis' KMSP-TV Channel 9, a FOX station. She will be partnered with KMSP veteran Jeff Passolt. The new program will begin August 28th.
Marni Hughes has served as a weekend anchor and reporter for KSTU, a FOX television station in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She went to Utah upon leaving Fort Wayne's WKJG Channel 33, now WISE-TV.
She is a 2001 graduate of the The University of Montana.
Here's an update on all the "kids" from WKJG who also worked along side Marni Hughes:
Dan Krauth, reporter/anchor FOX in Grand Rapids, MI
Frances Kuo, reporter/fill-in anchor NBC in Louisville, KY
Tonya Mosley, reporter/anchor NBC in Seattle, WA
Zach Myers, reporter/fill-in anchor FOX in Indianapolis, IN
I think they've all done really well!
