I am saddened by this news and I give my heartfelt condolences to Jim's family, including his wife Kathy and children, Russell and Danielle.
I knew Jim from college days. He was fun, very bright, and kind. He used to help me with my genetics and chemistry homework. We hiked together with his brother Tom and friends in the wilderness of Oregon during our college years. His dad, Robert gave me a job in his grocery store in college. I'm sure his parents and his brothers are devastated by this loss.
My best,
Brian Robinson, MD
