A Lutheran Minister in Lousiana writes in his weblog about his days at seminary in Fort Wayne and his acquaintence with heavy metal music.
My friends and I used to be regulars on the local heavy metal scene in Akron, Ohio. Our pals in the band U.S. Metal used to let us hop up on stage and sing "headbanging" tunes with them. It was a lot of fun - especially since we were all tie-wearing white collar junior executives on weekdays, and metalheads on weekend nights. (By way of useless trivia, the singer of the local Akron band U.S. Metal went on to become the lead singer in Judas Priest. When Judas Priest came to Fort Wayne while I was a seminarian, I was tempted to put on a clerical collar and try to get back stage. I'm sure the gatekeepers would not have believed I was studying for the ministry and knew the singer from his U.S. Metal days).

Fort Wayne Observed would mention that weblogs written by Lutheran Pastors who studied in Fort Wayne constitute a niche domain in the blogosphere.
