If you read lots of blogs, you know that many bloggers ask their readers to consider making a donation to help support them. I've gotten a few emails from Fort Wayne Observed readers wondering if I'm contemplating making such a pitch.
The answer is no. Though I can understand why a blogger would ask for money, I'm not one to solicit donations.
But there is something I'd like you to do for me today. It won't cost you anything and it won't take more than a few seconds of your time.
Tell someone else about Fort Wayne Observed.
Just one person.
You could tell them about the photos I posted from inside Fort Wayne's swinger's club, or my reporting on 21Alive's suspension of Keith Edwards, or one of the political stories I've broken.
Or you could just tell them that you read it, and why.
Whether it's in an email or during a conversation with a friend or co-worker, do me a favor and tell someone today about Fort Wayne Observed. (Don't forget to mention where they can find it, too: fortwayneobserved.com.)
Think of it as a fund drive, but more fun, because instead of hitting people up for money, you get to let them in on your little secret: that you've found another source of news and commentary that is interesting enough to keep you coming back every day.
I appreciate all the support I've gotten from FWOb readers up to this point, and I thank you all in advance for your help in spreading the word about the blog today.
Oh, and one more thing: there's no rule that says you can only tell one person. Like (I assume) they say at the swingers club, the more the merrier...
