Typepad was down for much of yesterday and the Indiana Blog Review wasn't able to be published on schedule. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced.
We'll be making up for lost time throughout the day posting the best of Indiana's blogs.
Here's what happened, according to Six Apart:
During routine maintenance of our network and storage systems last night, we experienced an issue with our primary disk system where data from published blogs are stored. We are currently running diagnostics on the device, and working to restore your data as soon as possible. Verifying data can be a slow process and will take time.
Taking Down Words was also affected by the outage:
Thanks for your patience yesterday with all the blog problems. We've republished the site, and everything -- except for a few images, which should be fixed soon -- is up and running. Apparently, TypePad fritzed out late Thursday, and it took them a full day to get everything fixed. But all is well in the blogdom, and we'll get some fresh content up in two shakes of a lamb's tail.
Thanks again for bearing with our technical difficulties on this site and the thousands of others hosted by TypePad.
