Mayor of Waynedale

This T-shirt was seen in southwest Fort Wayne last night.  The wearer is a resident of Lake Shores Addition - a subdivision in Greater Waynedale.

Although never separately incorporated as a town, Waynedale has a strong sense of identity as a distinct community both within and without its environs.  One example has been that, as many persons have reported, a letters addressed to 'Waynedale' generally get delivered.
