FWPD Deputy Chief Dottie Davis has been announced as a finalist for the Police Chief's spot in Castle Rock, Colorado
The city has a population of approximately 50,000 and is located 28 miles south of Denver.
There are 6 finalists for the position; a meet and greet was open to townspeople last night to review the candidates for the position.
The Castle Rock News Press reported:
The search was led by KRW Associates, a national recruiting firm that helped narrow down the options, said Mark Stevens, Castle Rock town manager. The interview process will include conversations with three panels comprising members of the community, the police department, town staff and councilmembers.
Chief Davis will have another distinction in two weeks; she is one of the participants in Fort Wayne's 'Dancing with the Stars' on November 11th at the Grand Wayne Center. The event is a fundraiser in support of Carriage House.
