55th Anniversary of the Death of Mayor Harry Baals

Saturday, May 9th, is the 55th anniversary of the death of Fort Wayne Mayor Harry Baals. He died while in office.

This is his modest granite grave marker in Lindenwood Cemetery:

Harry Baals was also our Fort Wayne Postmaster from 1922 until 1931.
