Kelty Karaoke

A recently created event page on Facebook is heralding an Auction and Karaoke Night on the evening of May 16th at The 412 Club on E. Washington Boulevard.  The proceeds are for the "Northeastern Indiana "It's time for change" Political Action Committee".

The event page states: "Join us for food, drinks, song, and fun! Auction to benefit the Matt Kelty Legal Defense Fund begins at 9 pm.".

keltyinfo@yahoo.com.

We can expect participants to sing songs like Pink Floyd's "Money" and The O'Jays' "For the Love of Money."

Mr. Morrison noted last December in a comment on FWOb that he had particpated in Karaoke at The Green Frog tavern owned by Cindy Henry, wife of Mayor Tom Henry.  The FWOb post had noted a YouTube video of Karaoke singing at The Green Frog.

Or perhaps an appearance by Eddie Money would be more advisable than karaoke by Keltians...?

No irony involved. We are friendly people, Mr. Morrison along with the rest of the crew, and we just want to have some fun for a good cause. This event is NOT political because "we" can separate it out. The Green Frog is a great place, and I had my birthday party there. This is all about helping a family save its home, and what could possibly be wrong with that?

Denise,

nothing wrong with that....but the flyers that were handed out are missing a disclaimer.....something they need if a PAC is involved in any way, shape or form.

Ed. note: By the way, Mr. Knuth, some persons have indicated that the Obama "Hope" banner on Wayne Street is missing a disclaimer.

Hey, contact the Obama campaign! I am a Clinton supporter!

;)

Just want to clairfy that the proceeds from the auction do NOT go to the Northeastern Indiana "It's time for change" PAC. I just used our facebook group page to get the event out in the public. Sorry for the confusion. I hope to see you all at the 412!

Hope someone sings "Politician," made famous by Cream.
