Whitley County Republicans sponsored a breakfast forum in Columbia City today for candidates in District 50 of the Indiana House of Representatives. Incumbent State Representative Dan Leonard has been challenged by former Huntington mayor Terry Abbett and newcomer Gary Snyder. (Left to right above - Snyder, Leonard, Abbett).
Property taxes dominated the discussion. Nearly 50 persons attended the breakfast. A reporter and photographer from The Huntington Herald Press were in attendance. Expect coverage in the Sunday edition of the H-P Online.
Mitch Harper was the moderator for the forum.
Whitley County Republican Chairman Jim Banks announced that Governor Mitch Daniels will be the featured speaker at the Whitley County Republican Lincoln Day Dinner on February 13th.
