City Corporation Counsel Kimmell to leave for Ann Arbor

City of Fort Wayne Corporation Counsel Joseph W. Kimmell II will not be staying on with the new Henry adminstration.

Mr. Kimmell, 60, has been an attorney with Baker & Daniels' Fort Wayne office with a special focus on its China practice.  He has been a resident of Fort Wayne for 35 years.

Indeed, not only will Mr. Kimmell not be staying on in his city capacity, he will shortly be moving to Ann Arbor, Michigan, to begin new duties with the law firm of Butzel Long.

Butzel Long is a 235 attorney law firm. Mr. Kimmell will be assisting that firm with developing its office in China as well.

Mr. Kimmell is a native of Knox County, Indiana, where the first Joseph W. Kimmell served as Mayor of Vincennes.
