Fort Wayne Observed informed readers on July 28th that the official Indiana State Highway map was more than a tad out of date. FWOb pointed out that, according to the map, it would appear the Cities of Fort Wayne and New Haven hadn't had any annexations for over 18 years.
Now, the South Bend Tribune has looked at the map from the perspective of St. Joseph County. Reporter Erin Miller found even more mistakes. The major one is that the University of Notre Dame appears to be located on the south side of South Bend.
“When the state announced ‘Major Moves,’ we didn’t know they were moving Notre Dame to the southeast side of town,” [ Notre Dame spokesman Dennis ] Brown said, laughingly referring to the governor’s much-publicized highway plan.
It doesn't seem to have had any adverse impact on stadium goers getting to ND football games.
