Jon Swerens has news on his weblog.
UPS just delivered the newest CD's of his music and he has three upcoming gigs in the area. Life is good for Jon. You can sample some of his songs here.
Mr. Swerens also reports on his day job duties at the Fort Wayne News-Sentinel. He did the editing and voiceover for video the N-S' Steve Linsenmayer shot of Greekfest volunteers making baklava.
You can view the finished video piece on the News-Sentinel website here. FWOb cautions that you shouldn't view the video if you are hungry.
One other note: just because you are seeing video on the News-Sentinel website and FWOb spotted the N-S' Leo Morris at the city-county consolidation hearing last night with a video camera, that doesn't mean you should necessarily read anything more into that about the News-Sentinel's future. As Leo Morris stated last year: "THERE.IS.NO.PLAN."
Mitch,
Thanks for the plug of my brother's CD! I have to tell you, watching him play 'Still Waters' live during our wedding ceremony as I walked our Mother down the aisle to her seat is a moment I will never forget. That song will always give me goosebumps...
Take care,
Jeff Swerens
