In Today's Blogosphere...

There's a lot of talk about  lot of things.  Here are some of them...

There is a theory that gays in Indiana are under attack.  Recent postings by Advance Indiana, Bilerico and A Common Place Book tend to lead creedance to that theory.

The fact that Bart Peterson is running for a third term and the Marion County GOP has no candidate for Mayor has got the attention of quite a few of us Marion County pundits.

Someone thought Jim Shella might be running for Governor.

Your's truly is seeing some disturbing crime trends again in the Capitol City.

Expresso has thoughts on the I-70 Super Headache that's coming later this week.

Indiana Law Blog and Masson have good summaries of the Indiana General Assembly and what's going down in the second quarter of the session.

Blue Indiana has an interesting story on who's been sitting in Terre Haute prisons.

What's Been Going On...

Fellow bloggers,  it looks like everybody (except yours truly) had plenty to write about lately, some of the more interesting items were about each other.  So without further adieu...

First, there's a new blog in town called Blue Indiana.

Gary Welsh at Advance Indiana offers some criticism to RiShawn Biddle at Expresso who offers it right back.

Bilerico wonders why the Eric Miller crowd would go after Carl Brizzi.  TDW just wonders about Eric Miller.

Entropy Manor has an interesting tax question for those who live in Marion County.

Doug Masson writes an interesting piece about single-class basketball.

Jim Shella tells us Governor Mitch Daniels is supporting John McCain for President.

Indy Undercover says the Mayor's Office might be spying on some of it's own citizens.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Okay bloggers, it's day we can show love or write about who we love to make fun of.  So with that said, let the blogging begin...

Zach Wendling posts a nice little piece on the history of the day of love.

Advance Indiana is showing no love for SJR-7, but is giving some love to current Governor of Florida.

Not a lot of  love for the Gov or Lite Gov from TDW, but there's a little love in her heart is for anti-hate crime legislation.

Indy Tax Dollars
has no love for Tax Increment Finance Districts.

Entropy Manor is feeling some strange love.

RiShawn Biddle has no love for political posturing.  Masson loves to update us on legislation.

Indyscribe loves winter photos and would like you to send her some.  Ft. Wayne Observed has some up from the winter storm.

Jim Shella reports on State Rep. Scott Reske's claim that a pro-tobacco group loves to harass him.

Bilerico has no love for the army's new recruitment policy that will take felons but not gays. But like TDW, it loves the new anti-hate crime legislation.

Yours truly and Matt Tully also offer up awards for people you should love on Valentine's Day.

I hope you spent the day with someone you loved, even if it was yourself.

Your Thoughts.

Bloggers,

For some reason people have seemed to forget that it snows during the winter in the Midwest and just freaks out over the thought of snow.  I'm interested in your thoughts on the snow coverage in your area.  Is it good, bad or downright ugly.  Thanks for the input.

We're Back!

Hey bloggers, sorry I've been out of commission for a few more days than usual.  Family health issues and something had to go for a while.  So now that we're back, here's the latest...(oddly enough not a whole lot has changed.)

TDW is still going after the Governor hot and heavy, here, here, and here.

Gary Welsh has thoughts on SJR-7, here  and here.  So does A Common Place Book,

Masson keeps us updated on legislation here, here and here.

Your's truly scripts about Pea Shake Houses here and here.

Indy Tax Dollars writes about the Super Bowl here and here.

Jim Shella has some good governmental scoop.

Feed Me/Drink Me has some good dining tips.  Indyscribe has a movie for you to enjoy.

I'm being somewhat tongue and cheek here of course.  We all have our staple topics, but do occasionally branch out.  Everyone congratulated the Colts for their Super Bowl win, even this Bears fan.

It's good to be posting.  I'll try to do some more updating this weekend.
